I hope I'm not bringing up a topic that has already been addressed. I searched like crazy for an answer to this before posting. I'm running Bonsai Desktop v 5.0.3 Beta. I'd like to create a master Outline (such as "Business Projects") that contains a list of all projects I'm working on. And then link each listed item to another Outline that contains the full details of that projects.
I am able to right click on a line item, click "Details", and under the "Links" tab change to "Outline". The problem I run into is that the drop down list only shows 2 of my 6 or 7 existing outlines.
I'm curious if this is (1) a glick, (2) a feature that is a "work in progress" since this is a beta, or (3) if I'm doing something wrong.
Thanks,
Rob

Linking Outlines - Desktop Only The ability to link one Outline to another in Bonsai Desktop

On the desktop, the link menu will only include outlines that are displayed in the "Outline Manager" list (View/Outline Manager menu enables this pane if not displayed). I am guessing the other outlines are not in the list. To add them, close the outline if it is open in Bonsai and then use the File/Open menu to re-open the outline. This will automatically add the outline to the outline manager.

Thanks Richard. That worked. It was odd though because all of my Outlines were already listed in my Outline Manager. I closed them all down and the reopened via "File/Open" and then they were available via the "Links" drop down.
