I am running Desktop v 5.0.3 beta since I am using the Windows Mobile beta version of Bonsai. When trying to print my Outlines, I can't get the "Notes" to print out even if I play around with the Globabl Settings and change the option to "Print Notes" or "Only print the outline column". I'm curious if this is a bug or if I'm doing something wront.

Rob, sorry I am not able to reproduce this. Once I set the "Print Notes" option, the print preview view shows all of my notes for those entries that have a note defined. I cannot think of any other option that would interfere with printing your notes. Are you using the Print or Print Preview menu or are you using a Template Print? If the latter, then the output will only contain whatever fields that is defined in the template.

Hi Richard, thanks for the quick response. I'm currently using the native print function within Bonsai Desktop (not a template). The attached file shows what I see when performing a print preview (and the resulting print job). I thought that maybe the original file I was working on might have been corrupt, so I created a test file (the one in the screen shot), but as you can see, that didn't work.

Do you think I might need to uninstall and re-install the desktop?

Is your note text "Notes for testing" in your example? Since note text can be quite long, when notes are printed they are positioned on the next line after the outline row and indented. This allows for longer notes to be printed but not be constraint to a single column area. Any line in the printout that is an outline item will begin with an arrow or a dot (arrow denotes that the item has children). Notes will alway begin with the text of the note.

Oh man... my bad. Yes, the text in my example is "Notes for Testing". I apologize for wasting your time with this. I incorrectly assumed that the notes would print to the right of each item (similar to the onscreen layout), and since the print screen image is kind of small, I didn't notice that notes were printing below the item.

Thanks again for the quick follow up and keep up the good work with the Windows Mobile version of Bonsai. I used to be a dedicate Bonsai/Palm user and have been going crazy for year with not being able to use Bonsai on my WM device.
