Well, here it is: "Several analysts say Palm Inc. might not remain an independent phone maker for more than a year or two." You may already have seen this obituary because several newspapers and websites have picked up the story. If you haven't seen it, you can read it at http://www.sltrib.co...gy/ci_14649683. I have had my iPhone for over two years after being dragged kicking and screaming from by Palm addiction (a good addiction). In that time I have spent too much time trying to track down an app that even mildly resembled Bonsai. My search keeps coming up empty-handed. I thought SplashNotes might be a temporary fix but it had so many bugs (and finally stopped working), I got my money back. I have refrained from updating my Bonsai Desktop to version 5 because I want to send this company a message that I can't support this program anymore until they make the transition to the iPhone. The poll leaves no doubt my sentiments are shared by a large portion of Bonsai users. When Bonsai finally appears for the iPhone and can sync with the desktop version, the employees will need to be prepared for a tsunami of orders. I think it would be wise of the Natara staff to let us know what their plans are just in case someone else brings out the app we all want while they dither. If we know that the Bonsai app is on its way, many of us will wait patiently should someone beat them to the marketplace. If this wait to long, Natura will have to play catch-up which is not easy in this fast-paced tech market -- even once mighty Palm was not immune to getting buried by more nimble competition.
