Hi all, I have a simple question - can't find an answer. I have a bunch of duplicates in my Palm version and my desktop. Is there any way to select multiple entries and delete them all. Standard CTRL Click doesn't work on the desktop. What am I missing?

-Thanks, Gordon

If you hit F11 it will toggle showing a selector column, you can ctrl-click on that column to select multiple items. There is probably a menu option somewhere to show it as well, but I can't find it right now. Also if your items are all together, you can hold your shift key then use your down arrow to select several items at a time - this option works even if the selector column is not visible.

Are you referring to DayNotez Desktop? Or Bonsai? DayNotez Desktop has no F11 column/gutter function, and control selection works just fine as far as I know. The column/gutter IS in Bonsai. I'm asking due to the fact that this is being posted in the DayNotez Desktop section of the forums. Multiple selection is ONLY possible, BTW, from the custom list/tab. It does not work in the DatNav (the list on the left hand side).

Thanks Bryan, it is in DayNotez Desktop. After some encouragement from Plaid's comment to believe it was possible, I did find out that F11 did not work and that the Custom tab did. I have duplicates from 2004 and 2005 primarily; don't know how they got there, but going through several devices probably did it. Anyway, I am getting it cleaned up before printing and archiving. Thanks for the software, and for keeping a close eye on the forums. -Gordon

Sorry, I missed that the post was in the Daynotez area. I was just looking at the "view new content" list and thought it sounded like a Bonsai question. I will read more carefully next time!

As long as the original poster posted in the correct area. Otherwise I would move it to the appropriate spot.
