For some reason, HTC has taken to hiding the standard Windows Mobile "Owner Information" dialog on its newer devices such as the HTC Touch Pro 2 and the HD2. If you are in the situation where you have one of those devices and need to get your name in the Owner Info area for registration purposes (many WM apps use that technique and require a properly set Owner Info field), then head on over to Gear Diary where they give you a couple of ways to set it.

If you have a HTC HD2 device (and maybe other newer HTC phones too), please refer to this link for an easy to follow description on settings the owner info. You actually set the "Me" contact card. The Gear Diary link from from Bry's post provides some detail about setting owner name on the HD2, but I think users will find this much easier to follow.
In case you are not sure how to get to the "All People" link, go to the Start menu and look for the People item.
