Hello, I just recently changed devices over the holiday and now I'm trying to get the Bonsai beta to work with my new phone. I installed Bonsai on the new phone and I entered the March 31st evaluation code. It says it synchronized successfully, but I don't see any of the outlines from the desktop (which were created on the old device) on the new device. Am I missing a step or is there something special I need to do to get the outlines to my new device?
Also, when I first entered the March 31 code in the desktop it was telling me that my registration had expired. I finally realized that it was because the registration for the old device was still showing up and had the expired code. So I was in a situation where the old device had and expired code and the new device had a valid code and I couldn't use the desktop. If I purchase a license I'm not sure what I should do to prevent this from happening again.
Thanks,
Dan

Issue When Changing Device

Sorry to hear you are having a problem with the evaluation numbers. It sounds like Bonsai is using the wrong user at startup and is not giving you a chance to switch (even though you are selecting the user in the registration dialog this does not change the user Bonsai is using – I will add a defeat report on this issue). There are two ways to fix this:
1. Run Regedit using the Windows Start/Run command and browse to the HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Natara Software\Natara Bonsai\Settings registry key and delete the PalmUserName registry value. The next time Bonsai is started, it will first ask you to pick a username. Once you select the username of your device, Bonsai will find your registration number and will complete its startup.
*** Or ***
2. In the registration dialog, try entering the beta evaluation number for the old device (assuming the old device is a WM and not a Palm OS type). This will allow you to enter Bonsai and then use the File/Select User menu to switch to the correct user. Unfortunately, there is no way to be usre sure which user Bonsai is accessing at startup, so you will need to pick the various users in the registration dialog until you find the correct one (hopefully you only have two users). After entering Bonsai, be sure to use the File/Select User menu and select the new user.
