After migrating over from Palm, I was very pleased to see that Bonsai Windows Mobile was available and have since registered.

While it covers some very basic functions, it is still quite primitive. There's no facility to copy and paste, for example.

I appreciated this was an early version and that these issues would be gradually rectified. But there doesn't seem to have been any activity for months.

I also registered for DayNotez on the Windows Mobile platform as well, but abandoned that because it was too buggy in synchronisation and limited in facility.

So how serious is Natara about the Windows Mobile platform? For me, the products are still very useful and not covered by other software.

I live in hope.

Natara is continuing work on the Bonsai Windows Mobile project. The next beta has been delayed by many factors but we will have another build released before the end of the month. Unfortunately, there may not be a great deal of visible progress as we are working on some major reworking of the internal software. The new build will support cut and paste of text but not an entire outline item or branch.

While the Bonsai beta forum is not the best place to discuss DayNotez, I am surprised you find the Pocket PC version to be "buggy in synchronisation and limited in facility". While ActiveSync/WMDC is not the most robust sync platform, we have many happy DayNotez users including my wife (and I would hear about any and all issues she encounters :) ). I suggest you start a topic in the DayNotez forum or email our support and we should be able to help you.

Thanks for the reply Richard. That's most reassuring. I'll continue the discussion about Daynotez in that forum.
