I've just pushed windows 7 onto my machine, and installed bonsai from the beta section so I can synch with my windows mobile smartphone. I normally keep my bonsai outlines in a directory along with all my other software files, rather than in the "default" directory. This appears to drive Bonsai desktop nuts. When I open the desktop, it pops a dialog for each of my outlines, stating there is no outline file for x, and asking me if I'd like to create one. If I say "no," the dialog box pops up constantly until I say yes (I've hit the "no" button at least 20 or 30 times trying to make it go away). Once I get into Bonsai, there are now two copies of some of my outlines, one in the directory I normally keep them in, and another in the "default" directory (although I've changed the default directory in the preferences dialog). Other outlines are deleted everywhere.
Is it no longer possible to keep outlines anyplace other than the default directory, no matter how the software is configured? Or must I keep two copies of them all, and what will be the impact on synch'ing if I have double copies of all my outlines?
