I recently installed Bonsai beta on a Samsung Omnia with WM 6.1 and PC with Vista 64. I had Bonsai on a Palm Lifedrive. I can't get the sync to work right. I have tried several things. I opened outlines and made a change and saved them to make sure they were converted. The outlines are in the c/program files (x86)/natara/bonsai directory.
If I put a file in the c/windows/windowsmobile directory, it copies over to the phone sometimes. Outlines that I create on the phone won't sync b/c say don't have access to windowsmobile directory. Even when I try to move an outline, Vista goes through an extra security level before I can copy. I have administrator rights.
Any thoughts
thanx, Randy

Randy,
It is best to place your outline documents under the Vista "Documents" folder. Bonsai should be using "Documents"\Natara\Bonsai folder as the default (unless you have modified this). The folders under "Program Files (x86)" as well as "Windows" are read-only and require elevated privileges to be able have write access to these folders. Windows also "mirrors" these files when legacy applications attempt to write to these folders. In this case, you will have two copies which may not be the same but are reference via the same path. If you think this is confusing, your right and avoiding this situation by using the Documents folder as it was intended is the best solution.

Richard, it worked!!!! Thank you very much. One other question: when I moved the outlines to the new directory, the names remained in the left window with a yellow triangle in front. I can't seem to delete those names. So now I have replicate names, one in new directory that syncs and has the correct icon and one that has the error icon. How to delete the one with the error icon?

Right click the outlines with the yellow triangle and select Delete/Forget to remove them.
