First of all, Thanks for the your development.

I using the Bonsai 5 Beta for WM.(Latest Version)

* PPC Side(WM 6.1)
1. write and save outline include korean characters.
2. sync with the desktop

and then,
* PC Side(Vista Korean version)
1. open the outline.

2. I can read and write properly.

3. sync with the ppc

and...

* PPC Side
1. open the outline.

2. but, I can not open that.(with error message.)

3. error message is "can not support euc-kr encoding.. blah.. blah.."

How should I do?

Previously, you mentioned about foreign language and charanter set.

but, I can't understand to solve the this problem.

Bonsai Desktop read any character set. but, write utf-8 character set only!!

Windows(Desktop) can not change default character set is utf-8.

So, I can not use the bonsai PPC and Desktop Sync feature.

I need help and additional patch for this version of Bonsai Beta.

Anyway, Bonsai is excellent app. ;-)

Thanks.

Sorry for the delay in replying.

You are correct in your details that Bonsai PPC will always write the outline as UTF-8. Bonsai desktop can read any format but writes based on your current language settings. Unfortunately, it looks like Bonsai is unable to handle that encoding.

My plan to switch Bonsai desktop to write in UTF-8, but that most likely will not happen until Bonsai 6.

Please reply and attach a sample outline file created from the desktop and I can see if I can do anything about this.
