Following from the excellent improvements in Bonsai 5 I thought I'd repost my 'most wanted' list:
  • Repeating tasks
  • Removal of 15 category limit
  • Combining filters - e.g. "filter1 and filter2 and not filter3"
  • Outlook sync for todos

I think these have been requested often enough that I don't need to be more detailed, but if neccessary, that's not a problem.

Thanks for Bonsai 5.

Regards,
Tony

Your welcome for v5 and thanks for the feedback. At this point all I can say is your suggestions are on the list of features being considered for the next major release of Bonsai.

Ooh... and drag-n-drop links with <bracket delimiting or something to avoid having to make links illegible with %20 codes>.

- That would be the single biggest productivity feature for me (other than getting onto an operating system which wasn't as dated as Palm, slow and clunky as PPC, unsuitable for business laptops as iPhone/iPod Touch or as web-reliant as Palm WebOS - Oh... that doesn't actually leave much).

Sorry to muscle in on your wishlist, Tony, but I couldn't resist the opportunity to add that to the summary ;)

Richard - thanks - I'm not expecting instant results. I figure that you won't have worked on anything that isn't in Bonsai 5, and also that these aren't small jobs.

I think muscling in is the wrong way to look at it. If you agree with any of #1-4 then say so, and if you have your own priorities then also please say so. The more people that ask for a given item I think the higher priority it will be given, and I believe the top two items would be repeating tasks and enhanced filters.

I do have the hyperlink request on my wishlist too but it's at #6 (I only posted 1-4). Maybe this could be split into two bites:
  • A new 'URL' column in the outline. This would work like the 'Linked' column, and would save messing about with the outline text.
  • For the note field it could be wrapped up into the rich text request.

If anyone else cares to share their top requests please 'muscle in'.

Regards,
Tony
