We wanted to let everyone know that Bonsai v5 has been released and is available for download, purchase, and upgrades.

This release is mainly an upgrade to the Bonsai desktop application. If you are a Bonsai Palm only user, there is nothing new for you at this time.

For those of you interested in the changes between 4 and 5, a rundown can be found in section 5 of the readme file.

This IS a major upgrade release, so there is an upgrade fee associated with the upgrade (from v4 to v5 is $12).

Also note, this is probably one of the last major releases that we will try to maintain compatibility with Palm OS. Future releases (Bonsai v6 and beyond) may have data formatting changes that will no longer support Palm OS. But for now, Bonsai v5 is compatible with the current release of the Bonsai Palm product.
