I can't believe that I've never noticed this before - maybe it's been caused by some recent change?
When I fullscreen my Bonsai window the notes pane doubles in size, the outline itself increases by about 5%!
Please make the notes pane a constant size when the window size changes and have the outline expand/contract!
Using desktop-only install v4.2.7 build 2805.
Thanks,
Tony

This would probably have to be an option, as I think I prefer it the way it is now.

I guess it depends how you use the outline. I tend to store most of the info in the outline and have extra data in the note - when I fullscreen I want to see more of the outline. You must store more of the info in the note and when you fullscreen that's what you want to see.
Not only should there be an option, but it sounds like it shoud be per outline.
Otherwise the expansion should be 50-50 I guess.

Actually Bonsai saves the note pane size as a percentage of the total area of the child window (outline and note area). When the Bonsai app is resized, it should size the note pane according to this percentage. If you close the outline (without saving) and then reopen it, you will notice that this percentage is used to size the note pane.

Please see attached screenshots of a window which is then maximized. I think it's fairly obvious that the note pane is not being scaled as a percentage.

PS: percentage scaling would be much better than the current implementation - this is what I meant originally by 50:50.
