If I edit a child with a due date then sync, that due is propagated to the child's parents even if the "calculate parent values from children" boxes are all unchecked. I've attached a before and after sync file showing the due dates added.

I can reproduce by doing the following:

- Create a new outline - save with sync turned on
- Uncheck "calculate parent values from children" in the outline preferences
- Create three nested tasks:
.B1
..B2
...B3
- Set the due date for B3
- Sync
- Edit the text for B3 (add some spaces)
- Sync
- B1 and B2's due dates are updated to match B3's

This is with 4.2.8.3102

Thanks,
d

You might want try the current beta release to see if the issue still exists or, indeed, if a new issue arises.

The current beta is referenced in this thread: http://www.natarasoftware.com/forums/index...?showtopic=6532

I just reproduced this with 5.0.1.3166.

Reproducing it is easy. Take the outline I attached above, set it up to sync, add a few spaces to the text of the child task (A3), wait for activesync, A1 and A2 now have due dates.

Note that this is without even viewing the outline on the windows mobile device, so its happening in the sync.
