Is anyone using the Beta version on the new Palm Pro (not the Palm Pre)? The navigation button is really hard to use with the current beta version. When i try to toggle up/down/sideways in the outline, the cursor keeps moving down to the icon bar at the bottom of the screen and it's difficult to get it back up to the outline. Collapsing and openning branches is also is really flakey - sometimes it works and other times it doesn't. In the old Palm version, one-handed navigation was very easy and elegant using the navigation button, but now it takes many many clicks to perform simple tasks. I am wondering if this is unique to the Palm Pro or if it's characteristic of the current beta. Thanks

I also use the Treo Pro and agree that it is difficult to navigate the outlines using the navigation button. I am assuming that it is because this product is still in Beta and will be fixed in the future.

I will look into this issue. I did a quick test before releasing the last beta but did not reproduce this. I will do some more testing and see what I find.

Hi Richard,

Did you have a chance to reproduce the navigation problems with the Treo Pro?

Here are a couple of things:
- If you are at a line and use the indent/oudent soft buttons at the bottom of the screen, the line changes colors (from yellow to gray) and the navigation button in the treo no longer works.
- The same is true if you just navigate down. It allows you to go down one line, but you can not use it to move down two lines in a row.
I was expecting the navigation to work to move within lines and not to enter the "notes" section until I press the middle button.
