So the initial screen of Bonsai when you open it is the file list and you can go up and down to choose the file to open. I could go up and down okay just after opening it (Bonsai). Then once I have an open file (or list) and go back to the file list (Menu>1 Open) I can't browse up or down anymore. Menu pops open okay and I can browse the menu items fine but I can't choose another file. Almost like the up & down keys are not being detected. This happened since I got the message that the Bonsai is expired and let it upgrade to 4.2.8.3054. I cannot also understand why it expired, the evaluation key was supposed to be good until the end of the month. (I am now, by the way, using a permanent registration key on it.) I use Bonsai a lot so this is very inconvenient. Please help. :(

The problem is the list is losing the focus and is not responding to keyboard input. This has been reported before (not sure if the circumstances leading to the lost focus is the same). I have fixed this problem when it was previously reported and I cannot reproduce the issue as you described. Please wait for the next beta and see if the issue is resolved.

Thanks for the reply. I found a temporary solution. I go Menu>3 Outline>1 Open Other... then browse for the file I want to open. It involves a lot more button presses than I like but there is no other way to do it.

I hope that you also come up with the fix to the 'sync' problem involving devices with two-tier security soon.
