Select views - filters
Menu - new
Don't enter filter name, leave everything unchanged
Done
Highlight grey area (supposedly the newly created filter)
click use
Message:
an unhandled exception occured and the application is shutting down
invalid operation exception

I did not see a crash but I agree this is not working correctly. I will look into this for the next beta.
