I can indent items using the tab key, but I can't seem to outdent items using shift+tab. I'm running version 4.2.8.2961 on an AT&T Tilt.

Tab and Shift-Tab should be working in the WM version. Are you sure your handheld is really generating a Shift-Tab key event? It is working properly on my Windows Mobile simulator.
We added the ability to use the space key to indent/outdent items too. If you position the cursor to at the first character position of the item, the space key will indent the item. Repeat to indent again. Once the item cannot be indented any further, it will outdent the item. You can continue to press the space key until the item indention is at the desired level.

I would guess that it's not generating a shift-tab event, but thank you for the space shortcut, that one works great.
