Sorry to ask probably an ignorant question. I establish a link of a branch to a todo (Agendus). When I go to agendus, I see the todo task with a reference like BZ3 in the Contact field of the todo task. I cannot go back to Bonsai clicking the reference. Also, I tryed to set (settings) the tag format, and I get a screen saying that I need to install an additional component. I cannot find this in the manual.

Unfortunately, Iambic assumes that any items in square brackets [xxx] belongs to them. You can either have the format changed to {} to avoid that, or have the tag put into the note of the item instead.

Yes, you need to install Back2Bonsai on your device. You can find the .prc file in the installation folder on your desktop. The topic is covered in the USER MANUAL

I asume that Bonsai creates the Todo. It creates it with the reference [BZ3], which I understand is correct. But it creates the reference in the Contact field of the Todo. Is this correct?

You would only need TaalMaster if you were using an old Palm OS4 device. Older Palm OS4 devices need to use a "hack" to accomplish the back linking. Palm OS5 devices just need to install "Back2Bonsai.prc".

Back2Bonsai.prc = Palm OS5
Back2BonsaiHack.prc = Palm OS4 + needs something like HackMaster or TealHack
Back2Bonsai.dll / Back2bonsai.bas = for Windows side.

No, Bonsai does NOT put the tag in the contact field. That would be the doing of Agendus messing with out tags.
