I know this is silly, but I can't revert my call log back to the original settings. I was trying to filter a few calls to check my billing on a client. I can not revert it back so each call is logged as it came in. I now have all incoming, outgoing , and missed separated in a group. How do I revert it back?

Hmmm... Either you have created a group (most likely by call type) or set one or more column filters. My first guess is you did a group.

First, make sure the menu item "View->Group by Box" is selected or that the toolbar item for the same function is enabled so that the grouping section is shown:

User Manual: Toolbar items description

Now remove (drag off) all the grouped items.

User Manual: Grouping Calls

Normally, you would want to first group by "Date" so that all the calls for a particular date are together. Sounds like you set a more general call type as the highest level sort criteria.

If you happened so actually set a filter (where only specific calls are shown) there is a User Manual section that covers that also.

Believe or not.. I did go to the manual and I was really confused.
This is how my list shows I have placed in my screen print out of the log. I can't seem to see where the filter is at.

Ah! Thanks for the screen shot. That makes the probem more apparent to me.

What you have done is "sorted" the column by the "Type".

example:
http://www.natara.com/comet/UserManual/clip0046.png

when you click on a column header it sorts each group by that item. Click again and it sort in the opposite order. Shift click on a column and it adds it as a secondary sort.

What you want to do is remove the sorting of the "Type" column. To do that either hold the "Control" key down while you click you click again on the "Type" column, or click on another column to make it the primary sort. In your case, I would imagine it would be more helpful if the grouped items are actually sorted in the order the calls were made, so just click on the "Date & Time" column header to make it the primary sort.

(In case it's not apparent still, a column has an outline of an arrow on the right side of the column header when it is a sorted column. Don't confuse this with the black/solid arrow that is in a button on the column which is the custom sorting dropdown)

Hope that helps.
