Greetings

I've been meaning to ask you opionion for a while now since you are working on both PPC and Palm devices, what are the biggest advantages ann disadvantages to each system. If I have to be device specific, I would say Palm TX versus the HP device that runs Win Mob 6.1. I am probably going to purchase a new device this year, or early next year at the latest. I am hoping Palm releases a new device that maintains compatibility with old applications, but I am not holding my breath.

If I were going to make my purchase today, I would probably buy a mini laptop or UMPC. I am dreading the day when I can no longer rely on my palm to use pTools scripts, Pop!, DB6, Teal products, Shhh, and most importantly Natara products, but I am just getting too old to fight the random quirks that set me back for hours. On the other hand, I realize that use of any modern appliance or device that requires electricity will subject me to those random quirks. Modern life... I can't seem to make it through a check out line without having some system go offline or hit a bug and stall progress for everyone in line.

Anyway, I got a little side tracked. Any quick compare of Palm and PPC would be appreciated. Speed, reliability, ease of use, other???
