Help
Hi All,
What are your favorite desktop search apps? I've used Google Desktop quite a bit, but it doesn't work with DayNotez.... My two Natara apps are DayNotez and Bonsai... Also, I have to be able to index Outlook...
Does anyone know of a (preferably) free utility that can handle all three ??

Hi Me, I just thought I'd answer myself.
I've downloaded the X1 desktop search app. It's pretty nice. 30-day free trail, then it reverts to the free lite version. It looks like for the average home user the lite version is plenty. Unfortunately it doesn't seem to index the DT versions of Bonsai nor DayNotez. Interestingly it WILL index and search the palm backup file's .pdb files. It even provides a selectable/copyable preview window of the files. X1 does have a feature to add axtra file types for it to look for when indexing... I added .otl and .dnz. This doesn't seem to work though... Does anyone know if it's possible to get X1 to recognize Natara's desktop apps?? -steve
