This feature is already there on the Palm, but perhaps with not as many options as I'd like. It's not on the Desktop at all as far as I can see.
On the Palm, you click on a Start Date (or Due Date), and you get a drop-down with options like "today", "tomorrow", "next week".
I'd like more options, like "+1 day", "+3 days", which move the date forward relative to what it is now. Nice and quick to do a quick change, even for dates in the future (e.g. I can go to dates due a week ahead, and move them all on quickly by +3 days.
Similarly, options like "1 day", "3 days", and so on, which is shorthand for 1 or 3 days from now... we already have "1 day" covered in the "tomorrow" option, but would be good to have more flexibility, more choice as to how many days.
I use TMP for Palm, which has this sort of interface for changing task dates quickly, and it is really useful.
On Bonsai Desktop, there don't appear to be any such drop-down options... you click on a date and you just get a calendar pop up, which is OK but not convenient if you know you just want to move a date on by e.g. 3 days, or choose a date 3 days from today.
Thanks,
Mike

Thanks for the suggestion. Actually the desktop does have the same capability as the Palm app to pick today, tomorrow, etc.
Right click the column (Start, Due, etc.) to open the context menu which contains the today tomorrow and other options.

Thanks for the right-click tip for the Desktop. Useful to know.

If you're interested in seeing how TMP does it, and what options are provided in the drop-down when changing a task's due date, you can check out the trial version from http://lilredspider.com/TMP/index.html. To change a task's due date in TMP, you click on the number/dot immediately to the left of the task text in the tasks panel (see bottom panel of the illustrated screenshot on the above website). Since Bonsai and TMP are complementary and not competing, I hope I can say that TMP is extremely good. I use TMP in conjunction with Bonsai.

I found the right click options on the date fields, very handy -- and I can also highlight a bunch of items and change them all at once! Excellent, but may I request more date options, specifically next quarter and next year? My only option now is to click thru a dozen calendar pages. I need this for future items.
A lot of people have requested some sort of repeat function, this might be a handy work around for quarterly/yearly tasks.
I would be happy if you added a two years from today option - and I'd love an "end of year five years from today" checkbox -- ie every item I enter for the remainder of this year would be sceduled for Jan 31st 2014. This would be an superb tool for an end of year review of all my "someday maybe" items.
Thanks.
