Has anyone figured out a way to use Bonsai on Styletap (PocketPC) with some sort of syncronization (StyleTap doesn't support conduits)?

They have some suggested workarounds, but it requires development by the developer (Natara). I would recommend you guys look into it, there certainly is demand on the PPC for a good outliner. See Substitutes for Conduits with StyleTap .

Thanks,

Since we are working on a "real" Bonsai for Windows Mobile devices, we have no interest in pursuing StyleTap as an alternative.

I have tried it in the past. I've gotten Bonsai to create new outline files. I may have even gotten previously created Palm Bonsai outline files synced over to the device (NO_<outline>.PDB), but I can say for certain there is no way to get it to work with our desktop .OTL (xml) files.

Yes, we could spend time re-writing things to get a workaround way of syncing .OTL files over to the WM device and then spend more time hacking Bonsai to open up .XML formattted files instead of .PDB files... but I think users would prefer to see a native Windows Mobile app.
