I use both the Palm and desktop versions of Bonsai 4, and one feature I miss on the desktop version is the ability to search across all outlines.
When I search Bonsai on my Palm (using Intelligent Find) it looks at all outlines. But while using the desktop version the Find command is limited to the current outline. If I want to search all outlines I have to (find and) use my Palm.
How about adding the option for the desktop version to search across all outlines?
Thanks.

Have you considered using Google desktop search for this. When Bonsai is installed, it provides an option to install Google plug-ins to allow Google's desktop search to index all of your outlines. Here is some additional info:
...Now you can search your Bonsai outlines in the same manner as you search the web. With help from Bonsai indexing plug-ins, Google Desktop can index all the outline files on your Windows machine. Search using the Google Desktop browser interface and click on a result. Bonsai will open the outline and display the requested item.

Do you keep your outlines in RAM or on a SD Card?

I can confirm that Google Desktop and Bonsai work very well together.

I tried this a couple of months ago, but could never get google desktop to index the bonsai files. Plugin was installed and I followed all the instructions found in threads here where others were also having problems - no go. So I would also add my request for a Natara built solution to this.
