I'm trying to fix my template so that in the exported file the closing "li" tag occurs after the branch's note and the opening "ul" tag occurs after the closing "li" tag. This change is needed so that when the exported file is viewed in a web browser, there won't be an empty line between the branch's text and it's note. I can make this change by manually editing the exported file, but for a large outline file this proves too time consuming. I've been trying to find a solution, but I can't figure out how to alter Bonsai's behavior regarding the placement of notes for a branch. [BRANCH_BEGIN] is the same as in the "html example.oxt" file, which is simply
<LI>#TEXT#</LI>
<ul>
which makes no mention of notes. So how does Bonsai decide where to insert a note for a branch? I'll attach the full text of my template. Please tell me how to change it in order to obtain the desired effect.

How does Bonsai handle branch notes?

Have you tried putting the #NOTE# (and associated HTML) in the [Branch_Begin] block instead of the [Note] Block?

Yea, thanks. I previouly tried putting the #NOTE# (and associated HTML) in the [Branch_Begin] block, but I didn't understand that I must then delete the [Note] block. Anyway, this time after copying the #NOTE# (and associated HTML) to both the [Branch_Begin] and the [Leaf_Begin] blocks, I then deleted the [Note] block, and upon exporting it worked!
