Do handheld settings survive a hard reset on Treo?

Nothing survives a "hard" reset other than OS changes that have been applied since you purchased the device. (A hard reset is when you poke it in the back while holding down the power button, whereupon you are asked if you want to wipe memory).
Most of settings for Bonsai are either stored directly in the outline file itself or in the "saved Perferences". Bonsai will restore some of the settings when it restores the outlines themselves. Otherwise, you need to also restore the saved prefs (system wide prefs). I don't think we save much of anything in the unsaved prefs (which won't get restored).
