Here's an advanced HTML template provided by a customer (thanks JG). It provides a collapsible tree using Java Script. It does require some customization for your use.
Here's some notes he included;
1) Export in HTML format with collapse/expand capability, with keywords, categories, notes, links and completed level tasks and To Do items.
2) The great feature is: you can link easily with URLs, files or other htm exported outline. Why? You use the note outline to write the link source name.
Example: if I want to link with the outline with the name "test", I just write the word "test" in note field.
Actually, you need to create a simple keyword that contains the "#" character.
In my use, I create three distinct keywords: #files, #URL and #Outlines, and I use conform the type of my link source only for my different keyword icons (to look).
The template will understand the difference between the three types of links (files, url and htm) in accordance with:
- URL: if the source name has "http"
- files: if not a URL and contains the character "/".
- outline: if not a URL and not a file.
3) Folder information; The htm exported files will be in the same folder. In other case you have to indicate the source level with "/", and the template will understand that it is the file link. The important point, in this case, is the type of navigation.
4) The navigation between outlines. We have two types:
- in the same window: use to navigate between htm's. You can create a very incredible knowledge base about anything.
- in a new window: use to open files (or folders) and open an URL.
5) Technical note: in template code, you can set this three variables (for expert users)
Keyword = 1; //set 1 to enable or 0 to disable
notes = 1; //set 1 to enable or 0 to disable
Categories = 1; //set 1 to enable or 0 to disable
You can download from Here.
Sorry for the delay in getting this posted.

Hi,
I want to thank the person who designed this template. It's very good!
I wonder, however, if someone can help me. I can export my bonsai outline with normal notes with no problem. But if a note has a link (e.g. http://www.natara.com) this is not exported. I read the explanation above but cannot understand it. If someone could just explain the details a little for me I would be so grateful.
So what I want to do is to export my bonsai outline that has a note field with links to files and web pages. I would like to see in the exportorted html outline a clickable link to these files or web pages. What do I need to do with # and keywords?
Looking forward to hearing from someone.
