Sorry no prizes...
I've just become a proud owner of a refurb Tungsten T3 to replace my trust M500. The M500 was always pretty quick at opening and navigating my Bonsai outlines (compared with the competition), but I've got to say that the T3 runs like a dream, and the bright, high res, colour screen is very easy on the eye and conveys so much more information at a glance.
Anyway, all this extra power has got me thinking over the one outline : many outlines conundrum. So, my question to anyone who'd care to answer is:
How big is your biggest outline (number of items & memory)? (and how does it affect performance?).
As a starter for ten, my biggest outline is:
749 items (most with contacts, notes &keywords, and a few links)
252kB
My M500 (33MHz) took a few seconds to detect it on the Bonsai index screen just after a hotsync, but after that was able to open and jump between items within a second. New items took a second or two to appear and filtering on keywords or text was slow (but what did I expect?).

Mine has to be my Completed Projects outline, which is way I cut and paste the branches of any projects I've completed (I always use one branch per project).
It currently stands at 1241 items, 266KB, though I see it growing much bigger though.
To be fair though, I don't sync it, because these are, after all, things I've finished with, by definition. And I guess you were really thinking of outlines on the Palm. I have every confidence that I could set it to sync though, if I wanted to.
