Understanding the Board Topics List

I just signed up with the forum. I am confused. On the front page, the "number" of topics is listed near each heading; ie DayNotez shows 124 topics under its beta heading. When I go to the specific topic, I can only access the 1st page with the most recent posts. There is no identifying method to go to the next page to read additional topics and the responses to them. Am I missing something? (It is quite late here)

Welcome to the forums. In order to optimize the responsivness of the boards, the forums are set up to limit how far back it searches for topics. You can change that by clicking the "customize" button at the upper right hand corner, then adjusting the following:

I would like to see the last [XXX] days of threads when I enter a category.

along with several other setting such as which forum areas you want to view (like turning off DatePak or Comet if those are not of interest to you, etc.) colors, etc.
