When I first enter the forums I get a list of discussion areas showing which discussions have messages I have not seen. They have a blue folder by them rather than a yellow one.
After I click into any one discussion then return to the main list, _all_ the folders have reset to yellow, and I do not know which other discussions I might want to catch up on. If I enter a disucssion I remembembered had new messages, the folders inside the discussion group are all reset as well.
Is this normal behaviour for these forums?
Now that I do not visit quite so often I can't remember which topics are new or have replies without the new mesage prompts.
Thanks

Not doing that for me. Do you have cookies disabled? What browser? Are you hitting refresh maybe? Are you actually logged in? (there should be a "logout" button showing up in the upper right hand portion of each page if you are).

OK, today it doesn't seem to happen.
Today only if I leave the forum area entirely (back button throught to home page) and then return, then all discussions are reset. Maybe I did this by accident yesterday. Not as bad of a behaviour, but I still have to catch-up with all unread messages in a session.
Thanks for the quick response.

The resetting showed up again.
It happened after looking at the Bonsai Templates discussion, reading a new mesage, downloading the RTF template (there by a new browser download window being opened) then going 'back' twice to the main discussion list.
All the folders that had started blue and had stayed that way as I read other discussions, have now reset to yellow.
Cookies are enabled, no manual refreshing, and I am logged in (automatically), using Explorer 6.0 on XP.
Any thoughts?

Not really. That's what we use here also (XP IE 6) and use the site mulitple times a day w/o any issues.
[edit]...
I guess I do have one thought. Make sure you don't have "Every Visit" set in the IE Options "Temp Files->Settings". I've got it set to automatic. It could be that when you switch pages, IE is acting as if it was the first time it sees the page, and the "Last Visited" information is getting reset.
