Just downloaded 1.1.1 beta to try it out.
A few quick items for you:
Synchronization dialog:
- If I open the dialog, then try to dismiss it by clicking the X button or by pressing Esc, it asks if I really want to delete all selected outlines. I very gingerly said "No", but that's a very unexpected behavior.
- The dialog itself is too small to show all 3 columns without horizontal scrolling. Suggest that you also make the dialog taller and resizable. If it remembered the last size, that would be a bonus. ;^)
If I have two lines that I want to make into one, I can't do this by just hitting Delete at the end of the first line or by hitting Backspace at the beginning of the second line (unless the second line is empty). This is standard text-editing behavior (also in the Word outliner) and would be useful in Bonsai.
I can paste text on a new line, but I can't paste text at the end of an existing line. Hmm, looks like it's because the resulting line would be too long. Would be handy here to have a beep or something to tell you that you're trying to do something illegal.
The toolbar icons have status-bar text, but not tooltips. The latter are more useful and also more standard in Windows apps.
Outline > Reset and Help > Registration have garbage characters at the end of their status-help text.
Like the new Filter and Sort on the desktop. Thanks!

Don't know how the close button could get mapped to that command... strange.
I thought all the toolbar icons had tips, I'll check around.
Thanks for the comments.
