The first beta of Bonsai version 1.1.1 is available for Natara forum members.

The major additions include:

Sort and filter on the desktop.
Dialog with list out synchronizing outlines.
Desktop configure fonts for printing.
Set category of outline from list view

A full list is in the readme.

NOTE: Version 1.1.1 will make changes to outlines files such that they are not readable by 1.0.7.

I have posted an update to the beta. Download from same location.
Contains a number of fixes for minor problems reported so far.
The documentation has also been updated with the new features.
